‘Early Modern Migrations – The Habsburg Lands and Beyond’ by Professor Alexander Schunka (Freie Universität, Berlin)
Senior Parlour, Gonville and Caius College, 5-6:30pm
Please join us on Tuesday for our next event of term, in which Alexander Schunka will be joining us to tackle the topic of migrants in Early Modern Europe and their efforts to develop new forms of self-fashioning and deal with the ‘migratory regimes’ policing the movement of peoples in the Habsburg territories and beyond.
We are also pleased to announce our complete line-up for the Network’s annual workshop, which is also coming up soon. We’ll send out another reminder in due course, but the precise timetable for the afternoon is available here, alongside abstracts for all the talks.
